Mary Mwakalu is an author, worship artist, creative, and founder whose work brings together Sound, Word, and Formation.
Her work is shaped by a desire to help people live with greater clarity, truth, purpose, and wholeness.
Through Scripture, writing, worship, books, poetry, guided resources, and creative projects, Mary explores themes of identity, spiritual formation, restoration, transition, growth, and purposeful living.
Her biblical work is centred on revealing Jesus Christ through Scripture and equipping believers to grow in maturity, renew their minds through truth, and live faithfully from what God has spoken.

She is also the founder of Ishi Initiatives, a practical learning and resource platform created to support people in identity, boundaries, recovery, transition, and growth. Through Ishi, she develops books, workbooks, guided journeys, learning resources, and creative initiatives designed to help people see clearly, grow intentionally, and move forward.

The Assignment
Mary Mwakalu carries a calling for global awakening through Scripture-centred formation.
Global awakening is the renewal of hearts and the reformation of systems through the truth of Jesus Christ. It is the restoration of culture and leadership in accordance with God's plan, as well as a revival within the Church.
This work begins with the Gospel. It continues through intentional discipleship. It matures into Christ-centred leadership, which influences households, churches, institutions, and nations.
Awakening is not emotional intensity. It is a sustained transformation rooted in Scripture.
